How much will it cost?

To be sustainable, Solve needs to align with norms and rates that are set externally by industry and government funding bodies such as NDIS, TAC and Medicare. We aim to keep the costs to you as low as possible and will work with you and your insurance company or health support provider to assist with payments.

There are 2 main processes in our service: Occupational Therapy services and Assistive Technology (equipment).

Occupational Therapy services

Occupational Therapists (OTs) provide assessment for equipment, as well completion of documents such as reports and SWEP applications.

People under the NDIS and other funding schemes will be charged an hourly rate for Occupational Therapy input throughout the project.

People under the age of 65 and who are self-funding will be charged for the initial Occupational Therapy assessment visit only (if an assessment is required). These costs may be recoverable from your health insurance provider.

People who are over 65 and are self-funding, are not charged for our Occupational Therapy service.

You will be consulted regarding any of these charges before we commence our Occupational Therapy service.

Assistive Technology (Equipment) construction

You or your funding body will be provided with an obligation-free quote for the equipment. Building of the equipment will commence once you or your funding body have approved the quote.

Because we run a specialized service, the quote remains individualized to each project. The price for the unique solution will depend on complexity and materials used.

If you do not have access to funding and are experiencing financial difficulty, we may be able to subsidise this quote thanks to the support of our philanthropic and individual donors. We encourage you to discuss this with us.
